Starbucks - Charged Four Times Too Much for One Cup of Coffee Then Told I'm a Liar
Venti Regular Coffee - Complaint
LAKEWOOD, CALIFORNIA -- I drive through the Starbucks on Candlewood in Lakewood, CA everyday. Today I drove through and ordered through the speaker as I always do. When I got up to the window the girl Valyn said Oh, you have a big order today. I asked her what she was talking about & then asked her if I was charged for more than one regular cup of coffee. I was indeed & then she told me next time to order through the speaker. I told her I did as I always do & I was floored when she called me a liar. I never received an apology or anything. I was treated as though I did something wrong. The supervisor was a joke to say the least. Who ever trained her needs to retrain her. She never bothered to even inquire of what happened, nor did she care. I left and came home & wrote to the corporate office.
I saw online the extra charge was not refunded back to my bank, so I called and spoke to the supervisor which was a big mistake. I already knew she didn't care, and by me calling & speaking to her it was confirmed even more so. She actually told me I had called the employee a liar which is strange because she called me a liar. The supervisor even hung up on me when I told her I'd already written to the corporate office. I called her back & told her it's time to grow up & really act like a supervisor or she should be fired.
