Walmart - Poor Customer Service Every Step Of The Way
Shelf To Counter - Complaint
BALTIMORE, MARYLAND -- Port Covington Walmart exhibits a poor excuse for customer service. This evening, I purchased a storage bin that was on sale. The rollback tag listed it as 9.97. I happily take it to the counter whereas I was then charged 11.97. I ask the cashier why I was not charged sale price she states I don't know, It didn't come up and proceeds to say, have a nice day. It's 5:28pm in the evening.
I then go to the customer service counter and ask about the sale. The sales person takes my receipt and proceeds to flounce around the station area to go off somewhere. I ask where she's going, She says to check the price and that I can come with her. I walk all the way back, she checks something and then flounces back to the station, not saying a word. I ask if it was indeed on sale, she says yes. At the station she reimburses me my difference never once apologizing for the inconvenience. I ask if there will be a correction in the system so this doesn't happen to anyone else. She never answers, just hands me my change.
I seek out a supervisor, ask the questioin of him. He says it will be corrected. Does not ask what the problem was or what product was the issue. He asks if I was reimbursed; apologizes and walks off. Apparently I have been introduced to the store tactic of catch me if you can. If you don't check your receipt; never know you were robbed.
