FORT MYERS, FLORIDA -- I purchased a printer with my Apple computer. I found it was not a deal at all. The printer has been a big waste of my time, money and effort. I have not had any luck with customer service. I spent a lot of time talking to technical support. I recently read reviews on their Wifi printer and found that so many other consumers had same issues. Lexmark is the worst printer in the industry. Don't get stuck with junk like me!!! Furthermore, Apple was no help in this situation. They referred me to Lexmark even though I purchased it from them.

Your best bet is to never buy a printer from the computer manufacturer. This goes for all of them, even if, say you buy an HP computer and want an HP printer. You can most always buy the same printer much cheaper online. Also, I gave up on Lexmark printers years ago. I found them cranky and they liked to put tons of junk on my system when installing their printer software. I had a difficult time clearing out all the junk once I decided to go to a better brand. If you do switch brands, make sure you download a "clean uninstall" program(tiny)in order to get all the Lexmark junk off your machine.

What issues are you having?

Had a Lexmarx all in one printer for several years. Worked well, never had an issue with it's performance, it was a good machine. My only issue and the reason I quit using it was the ink cartridges. When I originally bought it I could buy refill inks and refill the cartridges myself which was enormously helpful to my budget. Sometime later that quit being possible as the greedy people at Lexmarx decided they was losing them a bit of money off their incredible profit margin and they changed the cartridges so that they were disabled after reaching a certain level of ink and were not refillable necessitating buying a new cartridge each time the ink ran low. The model I had also was an all in one cartridge also, printing both black and color from the same cartridge and for the price the ink level was too little and used up too fast. The printer was still working great when I stopped using it because it cost too much for the ink cartridges. I will not buy another Lexmarx for that reason but I had no issues with the machine itself.
