NYC, NEW YORK -- The past 2 to 3 months the service on the 71st bound trains (E/M/R/F) has been the worst ever but last night was the last straw.

I waited for over 20 minutes for a local Manhattan bound train which never came. 2 Queens bound local trains came. Then I thought after 20 minutes the E Manhattan bound train was going to run local and then it stated over the announcement that it was running express. Then right after that the R came and parked on the local track.

There were no signs stating that trains weren't running local to Roosevelt or to Manhattan and there were no announcements saying such. Also it was only 12.45 AM which is still an active hour in NYC on a Friday night. So instead at 1 AM I decided to go ahead and walk home as it would be faster than taking express to Roosevelt and waiting for the Local there. I guess this type of service is the reason why you all don't put any countdown clocks at queens stations as people would be in an uproar seeing that it would be more than a 30 minute wait for a local.

The other thing I have noticed in the past 2 months is that the express trains are running so slow on the tracks that even the locals pass the the express trains. And that now every train I take has at least one bum on it. There was one time where 3 cars in a row had a bum and one of the cars had 2 bums. That is really out of control and this is specially true on the E and the smell stays in that car for quite a while even after the bum is not there.
