Red Robin - I Won't Go Back
Manager and Waiter - Complaint
DURHAM, NORTH CAROLINA -- On Monday I took some of my grandchildren to Red Robins' my first and last time. The youngest child I had there was 6.My grand daughter turned 11 and that is where she wanted to go for her birthday. I had 2 16 years old,1 11 year old and 1 6 year old and the rest adults. We had a nice size group the kids order the bottomless drinks and fries. Let me tell you my grand sons can eat. After their 5th drink and 3rd fries the manager came up and told us we had reached our limit. Call me crazy but if it is BOTTOMLESS you can order as much as you can eat. My kids didn't waste anything. After she came over to tell me that she went to the waiter and they started talking about and we heard them.
My grandchildren's feeling were hurt and I was upset. I worked at a large business and I am telling everyone to boycott and so far I have a lot of people on my side. I feel the way the manager should have handle that was wrong. To be talked about and being pointed at and looked at was wrong. We were not loud or disrespectful. Even my 11 year doesn't want to go back.
