Maytag Corporation Complaint - Maytag Warranty Service
PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY -- After just a few months the digital control pad on our Maytag MDB-9 Dishwasher went bad. We called the warranty service and an appointment was made. They could not give me any time frame other than between 7am and 5pm. This required me to take the day off. Of course, they didn't have the part (and it was out of stock and it was backordered), 2 weeks later a second appointment was made, yes they would not specify or guarantee any time other than 7am - 5 pm, so I take off my second day from work.
Surprise, surprise, they don't come, they call and tell me that the part didn't make it on to the truck, so I'll be stuck with yet a third full day off of work while I wait. Calls to customer service, scheduling all to no avail, this is their policy. I would not recommend to anyone to buy any Maytag product.
