Facebook Gifts - Went above and beyond to fix a problem
My daughter sent me a box of unique and upscale chocolates for Mother's Day, through Facebook. I thought that was kind of cool. When I received them, all of the packaging material was lukewarm, and, of course, the chocolates were all melted.
I contacted the Facebook gifts team, and let them know about my experience. They asked me to send a picture, and I gladly did so. The next day, I received an email from them, apologizing about the condition of my gift. They are arranging to resend it, at no cost to me, plus they offered me a free $5 Facebook gift.
I am more than pleased with their attitude, wanting to make it right, so that I can enjoy my gift.
I've seen that option on Facebook before, but never used it. I'd have to say that department is top notch in customer service, and I will certainly use it in the future.
