Motel Reservation - Complaint
YREKA, CALIFORNIA -- I made a reservation for my 88 year old mother and my husband and myself .
I said we absolutely had to have a handicapped room with walk in shower and 2 queen beds. When I made the reservation the person called the motel and was told a room with the needed criteria was available.
When we arrived at the motel, there was no such room, and I was told I never told them I wanted 2 queen beds or that there were 3 people, this was blatantly untrue. I think that was what made me the most angry, because I was very specific and was told that everything was fine. I felt like they were calling me a liar.
And they could not refund my money...WHOA!!!!
Then they said they tried to call me, I brought my cell in and showed them the log no call, oh they meant they emailed me. What creeps. I did call Expedia and they finally refunded my money but I will never use their service again.
They add a service charge and make it very hard to get your money back. Definitely not worth it.
