Prada - Terrible Customer Service for Something So Simple
Shoes - Complaint
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA -- When I purchased these handsome looking dress shoes labeled Prada, I thought that I was guaranteed an excellent product of luxury. For the price I paid, I should have. Less than a year after purchase, and worn only but a few times, the buckle of one of my shoes broke.
Considering Prada being a high end company with high quality products, I thought that I would at least also receive the Prada treatment in their customer service when dealing with warranties.
I took the shoes to my nearest Prada distributor and dropped them off for repair; hoping that they would keep their word in quality service. Little did I know that it would take such a long time. And not just a long time for a repair, oh no... A long time to even get a response or update on my shoes.
It took them nearly FOUR MONTHS to simply give me an update informing me that they couldn’t repair my shoes. When I asked them if there was anything I could do, they couldn’t even give me a simple answer. Not only that, but they wouldn’t even give me the option to replace the shoes let alone some credit towards another pair. Just a simple “no” and the condescending, "oh sir, I am sorry."
It is one thing when the product is faulty, but when your customer service and policies can’t keep up their end of the bargain, then forget it. I will never want to deal with them ever again; they lost my business for such a simple and trivial fix.
Even after investing in such a high end product they treat their customers like that. Ridiculous.
