Dish Network - Don't Take Their Word That You Have Been Disconnected!
Cancellation - Complaint
MIDVALE, UTAH -- We switched my mom to Dish for all of 3 weeks, hoping for a better price. She has dementia and the service just didn't work out for her, so we switched back to DirectTv. I called and cancelled the Dish a year ago. They kept taking money monthly out of her checking account which I figured was the "cancellation fee"--they never sent a bill explaining what they were charging for. Anyway, I finally stopped the automatic payments after 6 or 7 months of this. Now they say they have no record it was ever cancelled!! And too bad for you, because now we are going to charge you a new cancellation fee and not give you all that money that we charged you for "service" that had been cancelled! I am so mad. If you ever cancel get verification!! So that 3 weeks of service has cost us hundreds and hundreds of dollars!!
