MINEOLA, TEXAS -- My wife and I both have rx's for Paxil, an anti-depress drug and have been taking this for a number of years. Recently she went to a different dr. for specific related issues. He replaced her rx with a 30 day rather than her prev 90 day. I have a 90 day. Awhile back, she ran out and took some of mine (same dosage). My script ran out so we refill hers but it was not enough to get to either her or mine refill date. When we tried to get refills, EVEN AFTER GETTING A NEW SCRIPT FROM THE DOCTOR, CVS refused to refill either, putting us in a position of doing one of two things...get the script back and try to refill somewhere else, or go cold turkey and see if we can do without continuing with Paxil or ever doing business with CVS again.

There is probably something illegal about me going elsewhere and at this point I am so pissed I want to see if I can quit taking Paxil and never step foot in CVS again. In this case CVS has shown no interest or care in our well being and all the marketing is just bs. And thanks CVS, for all the withdrawals you are forcing my wife and I to endure.

Do business with CVS...a company that does not care about your health.

Could be one of two things: if you have insurance that pays for the drugs, they might have denied the refill.
Or, with the government increasingly holding pharmacies responsible for spotting abuse of rx, the pharmacy computer may have flagged you and your wife as potential abusers.
