Dell Optiplex Refurbished Computers
ILLINOIS -- I bought three refurbished computers at Sears on November 26, 2012. After repeated attempts to find out why I had not received my computers and asking that my order be cancelled, I finally received an email stating they had been shipped on December 27, 2013. That was over a month after I bought them. I had called and emailed Sears repetitively trying to get a refund and filing complaints during that time frame to no avail. Finally, I received my computers.
When plugged in, I found that one of them would not even boot up and the other one crashed on an hourly basis. The one that wouldn’t even boot up has issues with the on board video card. Because that is located on the motherboard, the whole motherboard needed to be replaced. I contacted Sears and they directed me to the seller. What seller? Supposedly I had bought these computers from Sears not an outside Seller.
All of my computers through Sears have a one year warranty and replacement. I have tried multiple times to contact the seller Ctronics to get resolution for the problem and as of today there has been no communication from them. I have also contacted Sears to no resolution as well. I personally think that both companies need to honor the contracts made. I am currently seeking resolution through legal means now.
