Priceline - Made a Mistake in My Bid and Got Charged $25.00 to Correct It!

I made an offer for a hotel and accidentally put in the wrong date. When my offer was accepted I realized my mistake and called their help desk if you can call it that. They have a recording that comes on when you call them that tells you that you are basically locked into your offer and can not change it. Who doesn't make mistakes?
With Priceline you may save money (sometimes) but it comes at a price and that is dealing with their lousy customer service and there hardball approach to customer service. It is not like they get don't get things screwed up themselves .I have caught Priceline making their share of mistakes and to get them to fix their mistakes you have to basically argue with them until they fix it. Priceline is a lousy company to do business with and when you make a mistake or end up with one of their dump or bad location hotels and want them to change it good luck!
