ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- After purchasing my 208S class from Mercedes of Orlando Florida a little over two years ago the chrome AMG wheels are all. pitted and look awful. I have tried calling both the Orlando dealership and Mercedes-Benz directly about my extended warranty on this vehicle. I purchased my Mercedes with a certification from the dealership. Now my problem is being completely ignored from both parties. After being a Mercedes-Benz customer for the last 25 years I would think they would at least call me back with some sought of explanation as to why my wheels are not covered under the Mercedes warranty. I was under the impression that a certified Mercedes-Benz vehicle would have wheels that did not become all pitted in four years.

As sad as this is for me, I am beginning to think that my only recourse would be in the small claims court. I am still hoping that this will not be necessary.

What does the extended warranty you signed state about whether or not they cover chrome wheels?

are the wheels original equipment?

if not, they may not be covered under warranty.
