Zoostores/Mercantila Delivery - Product Pd in Full and No Delivery After Nearly 6 Months. Horrible Cust Svc
Jennifer Taylor Fortune Lounge Chaise - Complaint
ONLINE SALES -- I ordered a Chaise lounge ($1,202.13) 01-19-2013 and paid in full. There were other items included on the request & of lesser values. Those items were delivered in Feb 2013 & the date for the lounge was pushed out to 04-2013. Then when not received, I contacted Mercantila via telephone & it was pushed out to 05-05-2013. Now, I am trying to find out what the new date for the delivery will be since 05-05-13 has passed and the order tracker does not denote a new date. I sent an email to Zoostores. com/customer service to inquire. The company no longer has a telephone number for reaching a representative.
This is my 1st time ever purchasing over the internet and being ripped off. I feel helpless. $1,202.13 is a lot of money for me to lose. After reading some of the other identical complaints, this company may be in for a class action suit & further scrutiny and sanctions from the Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Advocacy groups..
I've requested a refund and cancellation of the item not delivered but to no avail. Just think...$1,202.13 could be in my bank gaining interest. The entire request was $2,565.05. I will not do business with Zoostores in the future and I am warning other consumer/constituents through various media portals to be aware of its gross customer abuse on delivery of products paid for and ordered. They are operating on borderline fraudulent practices which are clearly deceptive and designed to scheme money from customers.
