Extended Stay - Filthy, Smelly, Ugly And Noisy
Extended Stay Hotel - Complaint
MESA, ARIZONA -- I never expected anything fancy but I did expect basic standards of cleanliness. The walls leach nicotine even in the "non-smoking" rooms. The corridors reek of cigarettes and the room is painted in dark, ugly colors suggesting an isolation cell in an insane asylum. The rug is dirty beyond despair, window was broken and the ac roared like a 747 all night and day, possibly to compensate for the steady stream of heat pouring through the broken window.
The mattress and sheets were stained and the comforter on top was filthy with some unknown crusted material.
They accept people with pit bulls. They wanted to charge me the full $150 non-refundable deposit for a 4 lb. kitten. In retrospect, we would have been better situated at the animal shelter.
Believe me, Norman Bates would have run shrieking out of this place.
Additionally, one morning during our 10 day transitional stay, I was accosted by a fearsome individual in the parking lot demanding a cigarette. I was indeed afraid.
