LONGVIEW, TEXAS -- Dish is constantly comparing their service to Direct TV. In commercials they state that Direct raises their prices after a short period. Well, so does Dish. I went from $53.02 per month for their 250 channel package and after one year it jumped to nearly $100 dollars a month. The problem with this is that I don't watch over 90% of the channels offered, but if I downgrade just one package and go to the 200 channel one I lose some channels that I actually do watch.

With today's technology we the consumer should be able to pick out the channels we wish to watch and scrap all the others. Why should we be paying for channels we don't watch?

How would you like to go into a restaurant and have to purchase items on the menu you don't want to get the items you do want? Or go into a movie theater and pay to see all the movies instead of the one you want to see? RIP OFFS!!!! What more can I say?
