Ashley Furniture/Regency Furniture - Customer Service Terrible Following Botched Delivery
Living Room Furniture - Complaint
CATONSVILLE, MARYLAND -- I purchased my living room furniture from Ashley Furniture (franchise owner: Regency Furniture). First, they couldn't get my phone number correct (they put my son's phone number on my account even though I gave them MY number). Because I didn't respond within the given period to schedule my delivery, they put my couch back into open stock (they called my son who NEVER checks his voice mail).
After they corrected the phone number (or so I was told), I scheduled delivery. I did not get a call on the day of delivery as promised because they again CALLED MY SON! Then, 1/2 of the coffee table was missing!
I went to the store today, wanting my money back (per the contract) and they refused, and offered me a $50 store credit for my inconvenience! I will be on the phone AGAIN tomorrow to see what I can do.
Simply terrible customer service. Time will tell how the furniture holds up!
