AT&T Internet - AT&T Customer Service Is Horrible
SPARTANBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA -- ATT discontinued our BUSINESS Internet service because some random person (residential) called them and used our address to switch to Uverse from DSL. It has taken over 6 hours and 6 people at AT&T to realize their error although they have offered no remedy or solution to the problem even though our business has been shut down for 4 days. To make matters worse when one person at AT&T did get the DSL service back on, she connected it to the main phone line instead of the fax line where it was originally connected SOOO it still does not work. They can't possibly fix it until tomorrow and may have to charge us for the service call!! (if I want to dispute the charge I will have to call the billing department - REALLY) Day number 5 without Internet service, without a business. We are switching as soon as possible!!! AT&T should have remained a telephone company.
