Bloomsnroses.com Complaint - Horrible Customer Service and Product
NATIONWIDE -- I placed an order for a bunch of daisy's to be wrapped in cellophane (NO vase because the recipient was downsizing to an apartment and I mentioned this when I placed the order). I figured the bill would be about $45.00 according to their website pricing.
WRONG...they charged 2 different fees although the website claims to have FREE DELIVERY all over it. Even when I did a google search, the company came up on the side AJAX-Free Delivery - They have policy discrepancies and additional fees all over the map. I found THREE different cancellation fees on various places on the site. The bill for a $29.99 bunch of flowers came to $63.12.
Anyway - They delivered the flowers in a VASE and a BOX and charged me $20.00 extra for this which I didn't order!
The VASE arrived SMASHED on the bottom and one of the daisy's was dead 2 days later...the ferns in the arrangement were all dried and crumbling and they didn't send the packet of flower prolonger that normally comes with flowers.
The recipient of the flowers (my aunt) called the number on the receipt to tell them the vase was broken and she indicated the lady that answered the phone was rude and indignant.
When I called to try to get things straighted out, the manager, Jim, was so rude I couldn't believe it. First he told me to "call back in five minutes, he was on the other line". I guess I wasn't that important because I had an issue with their service.
Then when I finally got him on the phone, he actually hung up on me several times!! HA HA, I couldn't believe it!
Then when I would call him back he left me on hold for over 15 minutes on purpose. At first, I was being really nice because I just wanted the difference to be taken off my Mastercard but he just kept putting me off like they did nothing wrong! He wouldn't even provide me with the breakdown of what he charged me for!!
I sent three emails to his company and he still has not replied even though it states on their website that they respond to business emails by that day or the next if it is after hours. He has not called either.
This site is to be avoided. He also owns a Bridal boutique for gifts etc. in Mississauga Ontario called Classic Collection - Avoid them as this is how they treat their customers!
No integrity and absolute rude and uncalled for behaviour...
I'm on a mission to get my money back.
