Dish Network - False Advertising, Illegal Contracts, Overcharges, Customer Service Will Not Address Complaints
ORLANDO, FL, FLORIDA -- I illegally signed a contract with Dish. The guy who sold me the contract promised channels they did not have and packaged me together with AT&T Internet, which was all supposed to be on the same bill. Apparently, Dish does not partner with AT&T and they do not have Direct TVs Sunday ticket like was supposed to be part of my contract.
The guy is no longer allowed to sell contracts in FL. I tried to work with them, knowing that their authorized dealer was actually the one at fault. They promised me free upgrades that I never received and when I called to complain they gave me the upgrades and then they started charging me for them. I called them back, they gave me credits for them and then charged me for them on a later bill. I have been over charged every month and customer service will not help me! They can't even explain our bills. Not one of them makes sense! It is impossible to figure out what and why I am being charged. They don't even record payments made and I have had to pull bank records to prove it and customer service still will not respond. They just want their money.
I am now boycotting them and not paying anything. They instantly put me into collections, but refused deal with my issues! They refused to let me out of the fraudulent contract and on top of it all, I lose reception every time it gets cloudy. So much for uninterrupted service. We have had the guys come to our house to fix it, but problem was never solved. Now I have no TV and collections have started. Dish has totally screwed me over and they could care less! They are the worst company I have ever brushed elbows with. Don't believe what they offer. It's all a lie and customer service reps are rude and totally clueless. They refuse to address the issue at hand and will just run you in circles for hours! You will end up paying twice as much for a third of what they offer. Stay far away!!!!
