National cell phone owners association Complaint - NCOA is fraudulent - Insurance for cell phone

Review by ncoavictim999 on 2006-03-04
Like many others I have read about, I bought cell phones through wirefly online and insurance through NCOA. I made a claim and was promptly cancelled. Is it not customary for insurance to refund a prorated amount if they choose to cancel early in term? I filled out a claim with current address. I did not receive my phone. Phone calls are not answered. Email response finally came that they had supposidly sent a phone to an erroneous address. When I inquired, I got back the same information, "your phone was sent on. . . . Others have complained and said, "file a lawsuit" I'm in. send me an email at momcatsmouse@comcast.net if you're part of it. Thanks.

Wow, you're brave! Posting your email address in a public forum like this.

I also ordered a phone through wirefly.com and just skipped the insurance offer. Once I got the phone I just called up T-mobile and started the insurance there. You are also setting yourself up for alot of headaches by posting your email address in an open forum. I hope you don't get alot of spam type emails. You may want to think that over before doing it again.
