SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- First when I made reservations I booked it with them because they stated buffet breakfast included. First day I was there I had to make my own waffle. They had a bunch of stuff that had to be microwaved. How is that a buffet breakfast? Also housekeeping is a joke. They didn't even vacuum until I complained. The room was a ice cube when we got there and there was no ability to heat up the room.

Housekeeping didn't do my bed because my sons pajamas were on the bed and they were uncapable of moving it. Iv always stayed at a marriott when I travel and have never been disappointed. Its a shame that the marriotts name is associated with this hotel. Will never stay at this hotel again and will warn all my friends.

Also forgot to add the pool had so much chlorine that they had to air out the room and everyones eyes were burning. The TV had candy smudges on it since we got there. Someones cereal was underneath the air conditioning unit. It is the Fairfield in San Antonio airport hotel

The Fairfield's I have stayed at have never had anyone serving breakfast in the morning buffet area. I sometimes see one person bringing out fresh goods and cleaning up. But never serving anyone. Buffet sort of implies it's a self serve operation.

As for the other issues, Marriott does in fact read the comment cards if you send them in.

At that tier of motel/hotel, it's sort of expected that breakfast would be a do-it yourself affair. However the lackluster housekeeping is unacceptable.
