Time Warner Cable - Waiting more than 5 months to get a refund on my account
APPLETON, WISCONSIN -- I have been trying to get a refund on my account since 1/19/13 . I set up cable service in my dad's nursing home where I was the responsible party but the service address was his nursing home. I cancelled the service and returned the equipment 1/19/13 and was told it would take 4-6 wks to get a refund on the account. After 4 calls, I still do not have the refund. I was told a check made out to my dad, not me, the account holder, was returned undeliverable April 30. The check was supposedly sent to my home address. I have been receiving mail addressed to my dad with my home address for over a year without any problems as I was his power of attorney before he passed away 1/30/13. I asked to speak with a complaint dept and was told there is no complaint dept but I could write a letter to the Milwaukee address.
TWC does not respect their customers, empower their call center agents or believe in first call resolution. The customer service they provide is a joke. It is sad that the are the only cable option in our area besides satellite TV.
