JERSEYVILLE, ILLINOIS -- This is a warning to anyone who is thinking of buying a new appliance from Sears Don't do it. I have had mine for 16 months the mother board went out on dishwasher, the door jam on my frig was installed wrong by Sears by the time this was noticed by repairman who was out because the Ice machine is not working properly it was not under warranty therefor I had to pay 1/2 $256.00 in repair cost. Keep in mind this was Nothing I did it was wrong from the first day Sears installed it..They are willing to give me a one year extended warranty if I pay to have a new Ice Machine put on really, there are two people in this family it is not like the machine is under constant use. I say no because I shouldn't have had to pay to fix the door jam that was not installed right from day one. Yep they say they want to work with you, at the customers expense. Well if I am going to have to pay to have the Ice machine fixed I will not give another dime to Sears. Please repost this, companies have to realize the we the consumer are tired of paying for [snip] products and that they need to step up with good ole customer service.
