Do Not Buy Insurance From Sprint On Your Phone - Total Rip Off
I got Sprint service for 3 family phones last year. I purchased the insurance which was quite a bit of money every month, $7 or so, which when you think about it is quite high. The guy whole sold it to me told me that when you have a claim you might have to pay $50 to get a replacement phone. Anyway, my son got his phone wet and it broke last Saturday. So I filled out the online form to file a claim and THEY WANTED $100 TO REPLACE THE PHONE. I have already paid $7 x 15 = $105 for the insurance so in addition to the $100 that would make the cost of the phone $205. I found the same EXACT phone, brand new in the box online for $150. WHAT????!!!! What a rip off!!
I called Sprint to cancel the insurance and told her why and she couldn't have cared less. Then Sprint sent me a text and asked me how my service was and I texted them back with what a rip off and their reply was "Thank you. You have unsubscribed from this Sprint service."
So they don't care either. Why did they ask me how my service was? Obvious they don't care.
