Cable and Internet - Complaint
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- I have been calling Comcast about this issue for months. I keep getting unauthorized charges on my bill. I spoke to one representative in March or April. She said my bill was high because "Blast" had been added to my account. I told her I did not want Blast so she reversed the charges and removed Blast from my account. I spoke to another representative the day I moved into Apartment 14. She said she needed to sent a tech to look at my outside lines. I told her I did not want a tech to come out if there would be a charge for it. She said there would not be a charge. The tech said the problem was with the cables outside the apartment building. My understanding is that I would not be responsible for that, anyway. There is now 3 months of Blast charges and a charge for the technician visit. That adds up to about 63.00. These charges are unauthorized and I refuse to be bullied, hung up on, coerced or to have my intelligence insulted by any more agents of this company.
Last, but not least, I was told that I would be notified when the 24.99 promotion ended and given a choice of whether or not to keep the service. The promotion was for SIX MONTHS. I signed up for Comcast in the middle of December. 1. Dec-January 2. Jan-February 3. Feb-March 4. March-April 5. April-May 6. May-June The promotional pricing should end in the middle of June. Yesterday was June 18th. I am being charged 128.00 for June (this month) This is more than twice what I agreed to pay for the first six months.
