Priceline - Hotel Amenities Were Not Accurate
Radisson Hotel, Austin - Complaint
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- We used Priceline for a hotel in Austin Texas. We wanted a pool as it is 90 degrees in June. We opted for a 3.5 star hotel. We double checked on the hotels websites as well about accommodations. Neither Priceline nor the hotel mentioned that the pool at the Radisson was under renovation and closed. When this has been the case for other hotel stays, they had always made accommodations with neighboring hotels for their guests to use a pool. This was not the case here. Buried in one of the inner pages of the Radisson's website, it mentions a pool transformation reopening in June 2013. Well, it's June 21st and there is no pool, so it is quite misleading. I think Priceline is at fault here as they did not perform their due diligence and have mislead their customer, me!
