Travelocity - Cancelled My Ticket 13 Days After I Bought It
I bought several tickets from Travelocity for flights in Central and South America, using the credit card from my university. The reservation system was great and I received confirmations including the e-ticket numbers. I didn't hear anything else from Travelocity until 13 days after the purchase and 2 days before the flights when I got a short email to say that due to problems with the credit card the reservations had been cancelled.
OK - problems with the credit card are not unusual. Cancelling the reservation - I can live with that. But waiting 13 days??? That is ridiculous. I asked repeatedly on the phone why they waited so long. Apparently it "only just came to our attention". What am I supposed to do now? The flights are full.
I will not use this company again, and neither should you.
