Staples - Thrown Out For Helping Elderly Woman
General Manager - Complaint
GILBERT, ARIZONA -- June 20,2013 I stopped by the store to by some packing tape before deployment. I heard the GM talking to an elderly customer about a ransom Trojan she had on her system. He wanted her to buy and brand new system and she said she had no money. When I said that I could quickly remove it from her system at absolutely no cost just as a community service. He ask me how I was going to remove it and when I told him that I am not allowed to disclose that to him or my approve CYBER Toolkit he threw me and the customer out of the store stating that I was soliciting business. I told him that I was not. As we do 10 hours community service free a month and I could in clear conscience have her sell this elderly lady a new system in which I could fix in 5 minutes. Subsequently, I did. I am a Cyber Subject Matter Expert and fix no less than 3000 servers and 15000 laptops/desktops yearly for the government.
You were not only rude to a service member but also tried to ripe off and elderly woman. Shame on you!
