FORT SMITH, CALIFORNIA -- I called LJS on Rogers Avenue to place an order, telephone rang and rang. After a minute someone answered. When my friend picked up the order, they told her that they had lost the telephone.
A week later, I tried to place another order. THIS TIME, THE PHONE FOR A FULL 2 MINUTES, AND THIS TIME NO ONE ANSWERED!! When my friend went to place the order, they said they were busy.

Maybe it's the area where I live, but I have NEVER been to a LJS that allows you to call in your order ahead of time for pick up. They are all pretty much fast food order when you get there locations. Could that be why they aren't answering the phones?

Or they were waiting on walk in customers. I will leave if an employee answers the phone while waiting on me. That includes dept stores also.

I've never heard of a fast food place accepting orders over the phone. And even if they did, conventional wisdom says that the customers who are actually in the restaurant get priority.
