Do Not Do Business With Dish Network
Customer Service & Account Support - Complaint
BRIGHTON, TENNESSEE -- Dish network is a rip off. Their service does not work when it clouds up, rains or something goes in front of the Dish. Their customer service is people who can not speak English, so they do not understand you nor do you understand them.
We had dish from 2008-May 2013 and it was out more than it was on. We moved our service to our house that we bought and the lady asked if we had an HD TV, which I said yes. She said that she would send out a receiver to replace the other one at no cost. She did not say I was renewing a contract when she did it nor did the tech say it when he put the dish on the side of our house. These people are crooks. We called to tell them that we had chosen to go with another company for our TV. That's when I was told that I was under contract with them. She said it was all disclosed to me when I signed up for there service (which all I did was transfer my service from one house to another) and that the tech also advised me that it was a 2yr contract when they had me sign (which I was told there was nothing to sign by the tech except where he had installed the dish on my house) They get very defensive when you cancel there service and try to hit you with all kinds of fees. This company is not worth it. DON'T GET DISH UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED WITH YOUR CLOTHES ON!!!!
