Dish TV. - Complaint
GRANBURY, TEXAS -- Equipment not installed properly the first time. Only see TV about twice a month so didn't catch error for nine months. Rep charged $15 just to show up. Had to sign for $7 a month just for them to check their own equipment. Stuck with this awful satellite service because of contract. They have a team called "the loyalty team" which obviously is loyal to Dish, No way to shorten the contract on this monopoly. I only get local stations and the rest are paid commercials although I was reminded that I also get HGTV. Whoopee! Has to be a law or something to protect the consumer when dissatisfied with the service. Thought Dish would be better than Charter but maybe they are all in agreement. What a ripoff for consumers. No protection for us only for the CEOs.
Does anyone have a way out of this for me? Am retired. I was told that there was no way out of this contract without payment over $200. so Dish won't lose money.
