Sprint Continues To Charge Us For No Service Provided

SPRINGFIELD, OREGON -- I am having the same issue in Oregon for over 3 months now. They tell me due to "an upgrade" they are experiencing tower issues in our area but the outcome will be better service. Our cell phones are our only phone line at home, we have to drive 1mile away to get service & we live in a major city. I can't receive/make any type of calls or service from my cell phone. We can't call 911, even a disconnected cell can call from 911 I believe it's the law. My neighbors had a burglar in their house the other night & I could not call 911!! Last month they told me this "upgrade" has been going on since Feb & will continue for an unknown amount of time into the future, they knew it would affect customers but never even sent out a letter to prepare us for this to happen.
I try to cancel my account with them & they will not waive the fee!! I went into a local store when it first happened and they told me I was the 100th customer of the day with the same issue to come in and they could not help me, I would have to call customer service from my cell phone. My cell phone doesn't work! The customer service reps on line attempt to lie and have you turn your phone on & off but once you tell them that you are aware of this "upgrade" then their answer is "oh yeah the upgrade, we have no idea when it will be complete but I will credit you $20."
They continue to charge my family daily for all of our devices and none of them work!! Sprint are crooks, do not sign a contract with them.
