Verizon Phone/Internet Service - Verizon Is Billing Us for Repairs on "Their" Faulty, Inadequate Equipment.

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA (NOT UTAH) , UTAH -- Approximately 4 months ago, we had an internet problem. After many days of Verizon researching the problem, they "admitted" to it being a Verizon problem at their switching center & fixed it. Somewhere along the lines of their diagnoses they decided it was a modem problem, which it wasn't, and decided to charge us $129.00+ on our bill. Naturally we called billing and we were promised a credit. Several calls have been made for this.
Each time we have to go through the whole story again & escalate the call through 3-4 supervisors. The fight for this credit spans 3-4 months of phone calls, where you are put on hold with the hopes of discouraging you from pursuing your quest for the refund!!!
Today, 6/24/13, we again called for this credit and were told this credit was denied. No one ever notified us of such a decision of denial!!! Today's call included Joline #6758 who could do nothing. The call then went to the "very arrogant" supervisor Nick #6203 who was in the process of "refusing" to do anything or even escalate the call. After much "arguing" he finally put us through to Karen, at retention, who claims to be giving us the refund.......which we will believe when we see it.
Why should we be put through this bullying, mentally abusive procedures every 3-4 months for Verizon errors? They are very nasty to the general public!
