Discover Card Review - Recurrent Problem
Customer Service - Complaint
On 6/23/13, for approximately the fifth time in the past year, our Discovered card was declined. We have available credit in excess of $9000.00. The clerk at the store announced for the benefit of all, including a neighbor, that I probably hadn't paid my bill. When I spoke with three Discover Card representatives they told me the reason was "proprietary" and they couldn't tell me. I found this unreasonable and emphatically told them so. Very unapologetically, I was told they didn't have to talk to me unless I "calmed down."
Our D. C. bill is usually in excess of $3000.00 a month: they're making good money from us. This is embarrassing and inconvenient. I promised them I "would plaster this all over the internet." This is just the first review I intend to write.
