Toys R Us - Toy R Us Won't Correct the Shipping Address They Entered
Customer Service - Complaint
FRAMINGHAM, MASSACHUSETTS -- I went to the local Toys R Us, looking for Lite Brite pegs. The store did not have any in stock. The Customer Service woman at the store said she could place the order and have it shipped to my home for no shipping cost because they didn't have it in stock. She processed the order, took the address info from my license, she re read all the info out loud to me to verify.
I got home 2 hours later and received the email about the order, immediately I noticed the wrong street address. The street was correct but the house number was not. I emailed customer service they said they can't correct the address or cancel the order to correct it. I called them directly, the woman said the same thing, they said it was being processed and they can't do anything. They need to have my order processed, packed and shipped to the wrong address, THEN when or IF the wrong address people refuse the package it will go back to them, then and only then will they change it and reship it to me.
THEY entered the information at the store. She even read it back to me and she said the correct house number. What kind of service is this. I keep hearing they want to get the merchandise out asap. What good is that when they are sending it to the wrong address?? Sorry but 2 hours later is not a lot of time to change an order. You can't tell me the box was already going out the door with the mailing label in 2 hours.
