Slumberland Inc Informative - Nothing in Stock!!
MINNESOTA -- I bought a dining room set, recliner chair, coffee table and a couple end tables and nothing was in stock. I wish if these furniture stores are going to sell furniture they would keep more of their top sellers in stock, it's frustrating to have to wait a month for something you've paid for, I'm not a very patient person, I don't like to be kept waiting!

From what I have read, furniture stores run on a narrow margin - they might stock the very best sellers, but a lot of them have to order the goods once they are sold. That being said, ALWAYS pay for furniture with a credit card - at least you have some protection if the goods don't show up. In the past few years there have been several large furniture retailers go out of business leaving customers that paid in cash with nothing to show for it.

just a little info...furniture stores, slumberland included, try to show as many different options as possible on their showrooms for a customer to see. it is virtually impossible to stock everything. the good news is that most items are available within two weeks, so be patient..these are items that you will own for a very long time!
