Customer Service - Complaint
CALHOUN, TENNESSEE -- Ordered 2 yr. contract service for mother in assisted living home. Home already had service that needed repair. My mothers service was at end of term but I hooked up her receiver to home service so they could watch TV. My contract expired and I ended my mothers service.
Repair man came and repaired home service and took off with my mothers receiver. Over 6 months went by talking to various customer service people. Some would say they had the receiver, some would say they are checking on it, some would say not to worry that I don't owe anything. It was clear that most cu people were just trying to get me off the line.
Meantime I had 214.82 cents that was eventually turned over to a collection agency. I finally got a hold of an accounts executive that somewhat agreed with me but only debited 200 dollars. I still haven't figured that out. I am still getting a call twice a day from a collection agent for 14.82. Even though I believe I owe nothing, I refuse to pay with a credit card to a collection agent on the phone. I have asked for a final bill from dish for the 14.82 (even though I don't owe anything) just to get it over with. Talked to 3 cu people and have still not received that bill.
Still get these same calls. When I had the service, over the 2 years the bill would raise a dollar or two each month. I just paid it and went on. I tell everyone that talks TV about dish and how they are. Please never use them. You will regret being their customer.
