Home Security of America, Inc. - HSA Home Warranty Sucks!!

CROSS PLAINS, WISCONSIN -- We just bought a house and had bought HSA Home Warranty along with the purchase of the house. After a month, we started to have problems with our air conditioner. We called HSA and they told us they didn't have any contractors in our area to service our air conditioner and for us to call our own contractor. We did finally get a contractor that would deal with home warranties to come out and take a look at our air conditioner.

Upon arrival, we called HSA to confirm our contractor and the customer representative told us that HSA would not pay for the cost of the repair with the contractor we had chosen. Keep in mind that we took time out of our busy schedule to find our own contractor because HSA told us they didn't have any contractors in our area and for us to look for our own. We had to pay the deductible of $100 for the contractor we found and it was a waste of our time and the technician that came out because in the end, HSA SUCKS and we had to pay the deductible and told our contractor that HSA wouldn't pay for the repairs and they left without repairing anything. HSA needs to better train their employees so everyone is on the same page.

When we called to file our claim on our air conditioner, the customer representative told us that there were no AC contractors in our area and for us to find our own contractor and they'll accept that. ONCE we found our own contractor, HSA denied them and "magically" came up with a contractor in our area after about one hour on the phone with HSA and trying to solve this out.

IN CONCLUSION, maybe look for a better home warranty program because HSA just doesn't care about their customers and repairs in a timely manner.

in my opinion all home warranties care about is your money. the minute you need something repaired they think of reasons not to cover it
