Travelocity - Horrible, Frustrating and Absolutely Ridiculous
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I bought a flight to Thailand Sunday night along with my two friends. Unfortunately, I accidentally clicked Travelocity instead of the company they used. Not only am I paying about $20 more than my friends, but they have already received countless confirmation emails, and picked seats next to each other.
I on the other hand received the same email 6 times saying that my booking was succcessful and that Travelocity would send me an email in 2 hours with my ticket information. I still have yet to receive that email, and when I call and ask them to send it, they send me the same one I have already received!!!
I also called and tried to change my seat number and they said that they couldn't do that for me because of "security reasons" and that I would have to call the airline. Meanwhile my friends did so through their booking company!!!
SO I have now been hung up on twice by the airline and doesn't look like I will be able to change my seat for the 19 hour long flight.
I am infuriated that this company is recognized in the world as a legitimate company and is allowed to do business and flaunt how great it is. In the future I will be staying FAR away from this company, and in the meantime I will be praying that I am even on this flight.
