LUDOWICI, GEORGIA -- I have never in my life been so frustrated with any company in my life; this companies practices are so far from customer service that it is truly laughable. I have been with this company since January under my own name, the bill was quoted at $75 a month, the first bill was due on 11 Jan of $75 every bill thereafter has gone up so much until it was $225 for one month of service. How is this possible you might ask, well DirecTV bills in an over lapping cycle which enables them to charge as such. If your bill date is the 11Th of the month of January the bill is due on 30Th of February but a new bill has come out again on the 11Th of February which is then due on the 30Th of March and so the cycle continues.
Where you are paying what is due they have already billed you for 2 months and you are continually going to be behind. This is an illegal practice and if more of us knew about this we could try to look for a change. Its easy for those of you that don't have DirecTV to say "if you don't like them don't use them", but unfortunately the woe in this is that if you cancel early you have to pay out the remainder of the contract. which means you get gouged and have good credit or you get gouged and have this as bad credit? The kicker is when you call the Representatives are so rude and nasty to you making comments like "well if you would just pay your bill you wouldn't be talking to me right now". Asking for a corporate number is out of the question and completely unthinkable, they will give you an address though, but only if you ask nicely.
