Crappy Customer Service - Complaint
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- Flying back from Florida on 6/23. Flight was supposed to leave at 4:30, so we arrived at Tampa/St. Pete (PIE) at 3:20. Couldn't preprint our boarding passes so we had to go to counter. The representative told us that we had to pay for luggage as check-ins but we had already prepaid online as carry-ons. He never measured the suitcases....just wanted an additional $50 per bag (there were 6 of us). We had no problem with the same bags when we left on 6/16 out of Ohio. The representative told us we would not be refunded our money as that was "Allegiant's policy". I tried for 3 days to call customer service. Just got off the phone (FINALLY) and was told since I emailed Allegiant it would be 4-6 weeks to see if I MIGHT get a refund. What a nightmare!!!!! Customer service is a joke!
