Apria Health Care - Billing Errors
NORWOOD, MASSACHUSETTS -- Billing error all the time. Will not use Apria Again. Issue range from having to rent equipment instead of buy. Monthly invoices are sometimes billed from an Apria location that in in my insurance and some months not in my insurance network. Messes up my insurance deductibles. Had to ask twice to get a copy of my statement faxed and it was just a dump from their ledger which my insurance company denied because it was not clear and it was confusion.
Another time was told I owed a balance. When I questioned it, they said in was a new monthly charge (legitimate rental fee for cpap). they asked me to pay before they submitted the charge to insurance.
Hold off to pay your statements. Ask for clear documentation and check your eligibility statements from your insurance company.
Will seek my health care equipment needs elsewhere! This has been going on for 7 years and I am done with Apria!!!
