Hotel Reservation - Complaint
NATIONAL -- Booked a hotel room through Priceline's website for four nights, Sunday thru Wednesday and when something unexpected came up they would not allow the reservation to be changed to Monday thru Thursday night. I didn't want to cancel just change it by one day. There only option was to cancel the reservation and lose my money.
I called the hotel direct and they were more than accommodating and were happy to make the change.
After checking out the hotel gave me a statement for my stay and their room rate was $20 LESS than Priceline's price. When contacting Priceline figuring they would honor their lowest price guarantee and refund the difference I was told there was nothing they could/would do.
I must be a glutton for punishmentfor using Priceline again after a previous experience with Priceline which was equally disappointing but will NEVER use Priceline for anything ever again.
