I ordered a custom screen door from Lowes. com. The entire experience was a total fiasco. First of all, Lowes. com reported that my door was ready to picked up at the scheduled time. When I went to my local store to pick up the door, all I got was bewildered looks. "We always have a lot of trouble with Lowes. com orders" is a quote. 3 1/2 weeks and 10+ phone calls later (some to my store and some to Lowes' customer help line) I finally received the door only to find that it was busted in two places. It can't even be fixed.

I am so disappointed in Lowes and find it hard to believe that their Lowes. com/store/customer communiques are so fouled up beyond belief. I have been a loyal Lowes customer for 20+ years. I will never spend another dime at Lowes. I will do all my business with Home Depot from now on.
