Simple Mobile Phone Company - Was Not Treated Right as a Customer
Stolen Cell Phone - Complaint
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I was robbed and my cell phone was taken. I reported it to the police and I was given a police report. I then called simple mobile to report my phone being stolen. I ask what I needed to do, I was told to let them deactivate my phone and they would be able to give me my same number. I was told that they would make notification to hold my number till the next day to purchase a new phone and new sim card. I went in the very next morning to purchase my new phone and sim cards. The clerk at the simple mobile call customer service and they instructed her what to do. They then said it would take up 24 hrs before this takes place. During this time I was still with with out a phone, I had the new phone but could not dial out or receive any calls. Each time I check I was still given the run around, they would say, that it is still processing. Call back in one hour, turn the phone off and then turn it back on. So I go back to the simple mobile store where I purchased the phone, the clerk call and they tell her their was information that needed to be up dated.
By then her boss comes in and take over. He talks to them and get the phone working, but in the process he tells them we want to keep the hold number and and they said ok. The customer service representative says that everything is fine. Now the phone is working and I leave the store. I am in my car driving to a meeting thinking I have the same number, I call a family member she answer and hears my voice and she then ask, you have a new number. I said no, this is my old number, she said no you do not and called it out. I called the customer service representative and then I get the run around again. Tried to put their mistake on me. I go back to the store where the phone was purchase and the head man who helped me earlier was still there, he got on the phone with the representative Still the customer service representative they were still lying did not want to give me my old number back, their supervisor lied, she was going to call me back, no call.
Simple mobile has caused me to loose time at work, because of no service. They have caused me a tremendous amount of stress. I used this number for my work business. I have family out of state and out of the country. All my important contacts have this number. Work related contacts. And they still said it will be 3 to five days. That is just a lie. That is not the way to conduct business and that is not keeping your customers happy. Right now I am so stress out, because I have been violated by being robbed and my things taken from me. And then this. I hope no one else has to go through what I went through with Simple Mobile. Your service sucks, you have done nothing but lied and went back on your word. I am going to take this further. Very unhappy customer and not satisfied.
