Ashley Furniture - Bad Customer Service
CALGARY -- This one really takes the cake. I found my new table at Ashley, it was exactly what I wanted. The sales representative tells me it also comes with chairs but he does not have them in the showroom but certain I would love them. I was reassured that I could return them if they were not suitable. I really disliked the chairs and they sat very uncomfortable. Back to the store I went and was shown some other chairs that might work. If I would just drive the ugly chairs to the distribution center I could pick up my new ones.
To my surprise I'm given chairs that need to be built. I paid $100 for delivery and I'm doing a run around. Fine off I go with these chairs I spend 2 evenings putting them together with a allen key. The chairs all have one leg to short so I try changing the legs, nope still not working. The tech gets booked to come out 2 weeks later. OMG seriously, ok fine more patience. I finally decided I don't want these chairs at all.
Talking to customer service, I'm told thats ok, a representative will call me when they can be picked up and I get to lose $120 to return my chairs. Let me tell you, this is crap but alright I agree. Now for the grand finale, I'm waiting for the call for a pick up and I decide to call, now I'm told they won't be picked up. I have to deliver them to the distribution center so you can rip me off my $120.
