Best Buy - Confused Warehouse Staff!

EATONTOWN, NEW JERSEY -- I purchased an air conditioner on June 27 for my elderly parents. The initial delivery date was for July 3. Six days, so my father said fine. Then I receive an email saying the new date was July 16. I went to the store to see what was happening (not yelling or anything like that) and an incredibly helpful sales person called the warehouse and spent 40 minutes with various people and was told the new date was July 5Th. I gave her a hug and thanked her for all of her help (Cheryl).
I was all set to go to PC Richards who had 7 in-stock and could also delivery it on July 5Th. But I like (liked) Best Buy and Cheryl was terrific. I get home and there is an email that it is being delivered July 3rd! Then a second email saying July 9th!! I was flabbergasted. I called again and spoke to the store manager who needed some time to make a few calls. He got back to me an hour later and said it would be the 9th. Now it is 95 and humid. My parents are incredibly hot and it is going to be in the 90's until the 9th.
