EL PASO, TEXAS -- I bought four brand new tires in 2011. By Nov 2012 the tires hadn't even made a year when I had a blow out. Just had another this weekend 7/13. They expected me to pay for another tire that almost killed me on the freeway. They insisted that I have a nail, sorry but the @*(** if you know what I mean. Will be suing them for selling defective tires.

Guardman. A friend of mine also bought her tires there and within months she kept having flat tires. They take adavantage of you especially if you're a woman on your own. Will be taking my business to Sams Auto tires.

Generally speaking if you had a nail in the tire or if the had had ever been plugged/patched, then you get into a grey area as far as manufacture's tire warranties go. Some tire manufacture's will void the warranty if the tire ever gets repaired, some don't so long as the proper patching methodology is used. You'll have to check the manufacturer's information on the subject.

Either you picked up a nail or you didn't. Did they show you the nail in the tire? Some tires are better than others, but all can be defective. Sounds like you just picked up a couple of nails to cause your "blow outs." That happens.

By the way, if you are referring to Sam's Club tires, they sell cheaper versions of name-brands. The old saying in the Corps---"you'll be soreeee."

Guess what, found out that Guardsman are made by Cooper Manufacturing Company. Look under tire defects they are being suit for making tires that had air bubbles and the list goes on. No they couldn't find the nail or screw. Read under Tires that are Defective. You will be shock at what you read. Also deaths have been attributed to this defects. Lawsuits are pending with Cooper Maf, Sears is one of their buying companies.
